Submission Guidelines
The competitions in Writers Forum have a rolling deadline unless otherwise stated. This means that if a story or poem misses the deadline for one issue, it will go forward for inclusion in the next.
Stories should be between 800 and 3000 words. If you submit a longer or shorter story it may get read but will not be included in any short list to go forward for publication in the magazine.
Poetry should be no more than 40 lines.
The Prizes are:
For the Short Story Competition £300 1st prize, £150 2nd prize and £100 3rd prize.
For Poetry winner receives £100.

Stories can be on any subject. If you would like a tick box critique for your short story, please enlcose a stamped addressed evnelope or add £1 to the reading fee. If you would like your story to be returned to you, please enclose an SAE with sufficient postage or add £1 to the reading fee.
If you would like an acknowledgment sent (to let you know we have received your entry) please include this with your submission. (Your acknowledgment can be simply an SAE or a postcard).
The judges decsion is final and no correspondence can be entered into regarding the marking, critique or merits of the entries or the winners.
